Civil Engineer PE - Land Development
Role Description
This is a full-time role located in Burnsville, MN, for a licensed Civil Engineer specializing in land development. The position includes design of commercial and residential land development projects, including site layouts, stormwater management and utility design, and other related civil engineering components. Responsibilities include collaborating with project teams, preparing engineering plans and calculations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and coordinating with contractors and clients to ensure project success.
Qualifications
Professional Engineer (PE) license
· Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D software
· Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
· Excellent communication skills and ability to present technical information clearly
· Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills
· Knowledge of stormwater management and the ability to develop efficient solutions meeting applicable regulations
· Strong skills in planning, including site layouts, land use, and project coordination
Civil Engineer EIT - Land Development
Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil EIT to join our team in Burnsville, MN. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will be responsible for tasks such as civil engineering design and plan preparation. The role also includes collaborating with your coworkers and clients to ensure the successful execution of our land development projects while adhering to budgets and timelines.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) test
· Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D software
· Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
· Excellent communication skills and ability to present technical information clearly
· Self-starter with a drive to continue to expand industry knowledge and take on new challenges
Survey Crew Chief
Role Description
Hill Incorporated is seeking a full-time Crew Chief. This position is responsible for gathering the required field survey data for use in survey projects as well as design surveys in conjunction with engineering projects. Additionally, the Crew Chief is responsible for interpreting and reviewing engineering plans while completing construction staking activities.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a Crew Chief
· Ability to operate and maintain Trimble survey equipment
· Experience with commercial and residential construction staking, including utilities, curb, grade, and buildings
· Experience performing ALTA, boundary, topographic, and location surveys
· Good communication and critical thinking skills
· Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
· Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record
